Celebrate the Heat Wave ... with Amazing Handmade Sun Jewelry!

The East Coast of the United States is enduring a heat wave. Yesterday in NYC it was 103ºF. Today isn't much cooler, and it started me thinking ... what a great theme for my next blog post!

So ... Today I'm featuring four sun drenched examples of handmade jewelry! These four artisans are doing something artists have done since the beginning ... the Sun is depicted in ancient art all the way back to cave drawings.

My first choice was made by the talented artisan and owner of stoutdg2, an Etsy shop that specializes in top quality bead jewelry made with unusual glass lampwork beads and components. Her brightly colored jewelry is a favorite of mine; I have found so many things I love in her shop!
