Handmade Jewelry at Designs By Cher

Cher is a metalsmith at heart. Her shop is full of gorgeous hand wrought, beautifully hammered silver and copper jewelry. As you'll see in this post, she is great at making many kinds of jewelry ... Cher's a really well rounded and very talented jewelry designer!

Most of the clasps, ear wires and other components in this jewelry are handmade by this jewelry artisan. Metal jewelry is something you'll see throughout this shop; Cher tends to put her beads on wire and use chain instead of stringing with bead cord. There is a wide range in prices here; and with the great mix of cool jewelry in her shop, there is definitely something for everyone!

This blue larimar, blue chalcedony and sterling silver bracelet will fit a petite size wrist! These beautiful blue beads are larimar and blue chalcedony; Cher made gemstone wire wrapped links with sterling silver wire and smooth silver bead caps, then linked them together to make this pretty bracelet.

The beads are 10mm rounds; because they're so large, they reduce the inside diameter of the bracelet, making it just right for a person with a small size - 5 1/2" - 6" - wrist.

You'll find a lot of copper jewelry displayed in this shop. Copper is a rich, deep red metal that has been used to make jewelry and other objects for thousands of years. Copper has a great warm look that lends itself to organic, rustic, handwrought jewelry very nicely.

This pretty copper heart necklace has a gorgeous hammered texture. Use great quality lampwork glass bumpy beads ... mix with sterling silver, black glass donuts, red coral slices and Greek ceramic discs ... and you get one bodacious bangle! Cher made the clasp and the silver coils with sterling wire; actually, the entire bracelet was strung on silver wire. This pretty bracelet will fit a 6.5" wrist perfectly!

This last example is made with copper, and they certainly are beautiful! These glittering chandelier style copper and crystal earrings will brighten and accent a beautiful blue dress, or a nice sweater with a favorite pair of jeans. The large crystals and the three drops provide plenty of sparkle!
