Today I'm writing about my fellow Jet artisan, the owner and curator of Shazzabeth Creations. This jewelry artisan creates the bulk of her jewelry with wire; mostly silver, but you'll also find a few copper, brass and gold filled pieces thrown in for variety. Lately she's been working in PMC!
Many of these beautiful jewelry pieces contain gemstones but you'll also find many necklaces, earrings, pendants, Bracelets and Bangles are all metal in design. The quality of the workmanship is superb; and she only uses top quality materials to create her handcrafted jewellery.
There are four basic types of jewelry in this shop; chainmaille, wirework, bead, and PMC jewelry.
The chainmaille necklaces are just gorgeous. Of course many people prefer bracelets, and if you do you'll love the chainmaille bracelets! There are some really nice chainmaille earrings here too.
This silver wire bracelet is a gorgeous example of this outstanding wire artisan's work. There are no solder points in the Cloudy Day Bangle ; it is created entirely with wire that was formed with hand tools, the traditional way.
It spotlights an awesome fused glass cabochon. The bracelet design features smooth, polished wire on the outsides; the inner wires are twisted, to add contrast and interest to the design. The closure is a simple hook clasp. This versatile and quite pretty bracelet is very reasonably priced at just $70.00.
Here's an example of a beautiful beaded necklace made by Shazzabeth. The amethyst and lampwork shells necklace features fabulous art glass lampwork shells, amethyst beads and natural color freshwater pearls.
This stunning piece is quite fashionable, and will add a nice colorful accent to your summer wardrobe. This amazing necklace is 23 1/2" long; and it is finished with sterling silver cones and a Bali silver toggle clasp.
This is the only necklace like this. Just one! If you love unique lampwork glass beads and one of a kind jewelry pieces, this could be your new necklace ... $105.00!
Here's a cool copper bracelet by this artisan! This is an example of the chainmaille work you'll find in this shop, although most of the maille sold here is made with sterling silver.
This Copper Byzantine Waves Chainmaille Bracelet is fabulous! Its a variation of the Byzantine pattern. This is a 7.5" bracelet, and it is quite heavy ... 2 ounces!
Pieces like this take many hours of labor to make. Its not easy work, and you've got to be inpressed with the result. It could be yours - for $90.00!
I want to feature one more choice today ... these pretty fine silver and Swarovski crystal earrings! These are heavily textured and highly polished to catch and reflect light from every direction. These were made with PMC or Precious Metal Clay; after kiln firing, they're 99.9% pure silver!
The stars hang from .999 fine silver ear wires, and these pretty stars have Swarovski Sky Blue Opal color crystal accents. These pretty dangles are entirely handmade right down to the ear wires! They're so sparkly and comfortable you'll want to wear them every day - they could easily become your favorite earrings. Take them home - just $35.00!
If you like handmade jewelry, you are going to fall in love with Shazzabeth Creation's shop! I spotlighted just a few pieces here; there are many more outstanding pieces of jewelry to see, so visit today!
